New and returning vendors are offering their best in agricultural products, artisanal delights and prepared foods. Always popular this time of year are bedding plants, new crop maple syrup, jams and jellies, and fresh rhubarb for that spring tonic we all need.
This season the Lakefield Farmers' Market will be selling Fresh Coffee each market day and on the first day we will be offering it for FREE to all Market customers while supplies last.
We are also excited to feature the work of Nourish Lakefield in our community booth. After having been involved in launching a community garden at the school, Nourish Lakefield is extending its reach through cooking and canning workshops and this year, vendors at the Lakefield Farmer’s Market will redeem Nourish Market Dollars.
We will also have Peterborough and Kawartha Tourism in our community booth showcasing their mobile vistor services with information about events and opportunities in our region.
Finally, We are so excited to welcome back Ean and Eleanor who will regale customers with live music through the morning!
